FAQ’S PURCHASE PROCESS


Making an order at Cargo Wine Club is easy:

Browse through our listings until you find the wine that you like. Enter the number of bottles that you wish to purchase. By default the quantity is set to 1, but that is easy to change.

Remember you have to buy at least 3 reference of the same winery.

A window will pop up asking if you wish to continue shopping or go to the shopping basket. Repeat this process until you have everything that you may want.

When you have finished choosing all your wines, go to the shopping basket page. Once you get there, make sure that you correctly have all your items. This page allows you to add or remove bottles and to delete an item if you made a mistake.

Once you are sure that you have all the products you wanted, click the button “checkout” to start the payment process.

Firstly, you start by logging in. If you are already a client, enter your user details as per normal. If this is your first time, please enter your details to create an account with us.

Creating an account is totally free, and with each purchase that you make, you will earn points which can be exchanged for wine.

Once logged in, we will ask you for your billing and delivery addresses. A warm reminder, the more information you can provide, the easier this will make your delivery.

We will ask for a mobile number to contact you in case of emergency. As a general rule of thumb, our logistics partners can not call before making the drop off.

Insert your Credit card details and process the payment.

Your order has now been made. You can now receive your order from the comforts of your own home.


At the moment the payment at cargowineclub.com can be processed only by credit card.

Also, we do not store credit cards. The entire collection process is carried out through external platforms, which receive the information using the most rigorous encryption methods..


The packaging we use to deliver our goods have been heavily thought about to avoid in transit breakages and our partners are fully aware of the fragility of the wine, but it is possibility that some bottles may arrive broken

cargowineclub.com will replace any lost or broken wines during the shipment up to 200€ per order. For shipments more valuable you could add and additional insurance at the moment of checkout.

At the time of delivery, you must indicate in the POD: "agreed except hidden defects".

We need photos of the product to claim the breakage, and so we will replace the broken bottle for you or give you a refund.


Yes, at the moment of completing the order, you can select the option “this is a gift”.

We will ask you for the address where you would like the order to be delivered, and we will not attach any receipts for purchases made in this manner.

Furthermore, you can add if you like a gift card that we will be sent alongside with your wines. In this 200g printed card, you can write a personalized message to a family member, friend or client. This will create a totally personalised and unique gift


Yes, if you like you can buy wine so that we can send it to you at a later date. That said, we won’t be able to hold on to it forever, of course ;)

You have to make the commitment to have it sent within a maximum of two months after the date of purchase.

After that time, we’ll take it as understood that you’re not interested, and we’ll put the wine on sale again without making any refund



FAQ’S USER ACCOUNTS


Our first reason is for your convenience. If you create a user account, your next purchase will have all your details already saved in our system, and all you will have to do is verify that these details are correct. Obviously, if some of your details have changed, these can easily be updated.

Furthermore, in your personal area, you will find a history of all previous orders that you have made. You will be able to check back to this page whenever you want. Additionally, you can even repeat an order without having to find the wines, simply add these back into your shopping basket.

We also offer a service that allows you to follow all our new products from your favorite wineries and appellations of origin (D.O).


How many times have you tried a wine and over a period of time you wanted to remember what it was but you just couldn’t. To avoid this, we allow you to tag your favorites wines, these will be stored in your profile. You will be able to check back whenever you want to remember those special wines.

Moreover, we will alert you when a new vintage from one of your favorite wines is available to order, thus allowing you to be one of the first to purchase that wine.


We all have a passion for a certain appellation of origin (D.O), this can be said for any winery too. We love to know about everything that happens there. For this reason, we offers a service that we will keep you up to date about all our latest products from your preferred wineries or appellations of origin.



FAQ’S PURCHASE PROCESS


Totally. We manage all payments directly with the online payment platforms Redsys. Cargo Wine club does not know or store in any database your personal details, or credit cards. The platforms only allow us to know if the payment has been made or not.


Cargo Wine offers at the moment the credit card payment method, from the most frequent like Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.


We only use your details to send you your order to your house and to make all the necessary arrangements for delivery. Cargo Wine never gives out your details to third party companies for them to send you their advertising. Not only do we have the obligation under the data protection act, but we also do not like when people sell our details to other companies.

In compliance with the provisions of the Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data, from the time a customer places an order, their personal data, addresses and information related to their form of payment, are incorporated into our database and used solely to process the order and send information on offers and services that may be of interest to our customers.

Cargo Wine ensures the confidentiality of data provided by our customers as the personal data requested are always strictly necessary.


The newsletter we send out covers a range of topics: new products, offers and special promotions for our subscribers, we typically send one newsletters every week.

We are aware of the amount of information that we send, the intention is never to bother you with too many emails, but only to send you a listings of our latest products, offers and special promotions that we might consider to be interesting to our customers.

Once we receive your order, we contact the different wineries and arrange for your wine selection to picked up directly from the winery. We will take care of the packaging and all the documentation of your wine order. Once it is ready will be sent the same day with UPS courier.


Depending on the location of the wineries where we should to pick up the bottles of your order and depending the final country where the shipment will be made. You can expect delivery to be made within 7-14 days of placing your order. Sometimes it’s quicker!.


our order must include a minimum of 3 bottles per winery. More bottles you order cheaper will be your shipment per bottle.


Our exporting permits allow us to send up to 120 bottles to each person.



Norway


Your wine will travel by truck using the standard UPS services. We understand the value of your wine and the importance of good wine-care practices and take all care in packing your wine.

For this destination you will pay duties and taxes in Norway before delivery will be made.

The limit to receive wine in Norway for personal consumption is up to 30 bottles.



Swizterland

Once we receive your order, we contact the different wineries and arrange for your wine selection to picked up directly from the winery. We will take care of the packaging and all the documentation of your wine order. Once it is ready will be sent by air cargo and Yamato service.


Depending on the location of the wineries where we should to pick up the bottles of your order. You can expect delivery to be made within 10-14 days of placing your order. Sometimes it’s quicker!.


For this destination you will pay the duties and taxes directly to the Yamato driver that will deliver you order.


Your order must include a minimum of 3 bottles per winery. More bottles you order cheaper will be your shipment per bottle.


The limit to receive wine in Japan for personal consumption is up to 12 bottles.



United Kingdom

Your wine will travel by airfreight service from Spain to USA. We understand the value of your wine and the importance of good wine-care practices and take all care in packing your wine.


Once we receive your order, we contact the different wineries and arrange for your wine selection to picked up directly from the winery.

We will take care of the packaging and all the documentation of your wine order. Once it is ready will be sent with air cargo companies.

Once cleared by USA customs we will email you with details of the courier company and tracking number.

Your wine will travel in a climate-controlled truck from our USA warehouse to your local area. Delivery will be made by your local courier company (eg: FedEx, UPS, UDS, LSO)

The package must be signed for by a person 21 years or over.


Depending on the location of the wineries where we should to pick up the bottles of your order and depending the final State where the shipment will be made. You can expect delivery to be made within 3-4 weeks of placing your order. Sometimes it’s quicker! Flights leave Spain approximately every 2-3 weeks. Occasionally this will be extended depending on flight availability of the airlines. We will provide email updates for any extensive delays..
